The solution will appear discontinuous at first; allow the solution to wet out completely until uniform. Begin heating to 65°C to 70°C. Phase C – In a separate vessel begin heating and mixing phase C to 65°C to 70°C. At 65°C to 70°C, add phase C to phase AB. Increase speed as needed. Avoid introducing air. Once batch is completely uniform, discontinue heat and begin cooling. Phase D – At 40°C, add phase D. Transfer the mixture to holding vessel. Product will continue to thicken.
